About Me:

Hey guys! Most of you know me from the George Lynch forum. I post there all of the time! Anyway, I started off at an early age as a metalhead! I was 10 years old when I first started playing the drums. Then for some reason, I really wanted to play guitar, and started to learn at the age of 15.

I've been shredding for around 28 years now. As far as recording I use a Tascam Porta01 and Porta05 4-track recorders mostly for fun, but I have access to more professional recording gear and equipment. The amps I jam through are Randall's and Marshall's. I used a Randall RG-100 on Maggot Brain, and my Randall RG-80 on the other tracks. The guitars used were my '81 Gibson Custom Shop Explorer, and my '82 Ibanez Iceman II. Click on my MySpace page link below to listen to some of my tracks...

Don't forget to check out check out my 80's Metal Mania Forum! There are TONS of topics, and it's easy to register!

As far as effects and pedals, I don't use many. Only a Boss Overdrive OD-1, Boss Digital Delay DD-2, Boss Flanger BF-2, Boss Equalizer GE-7. At the end of Maggot Brain I used a DOD Octoplus FX-35. As far as future recordings go, I'm all set.

Some of my musical influences:

George Lynch, Randy Rhoads, Doug Aldrich, Tony Iommi, Warren DeMartini, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, Scorpions, Queensryche, Dokken, Ratt, Livesay, Guns N' Roses, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Whitesnake, Rush, Tesla, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, April Wine, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Ronnie Montrose, Ted Nugent, ZZ Top, Ritchie Blackmore, Accept, Racer X, Mr Big, Paul Gilbert, Gus G, Nazareth, Triumph, Rik Emmett, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jake E Lee, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kix, KISS, Warrant, Skid Row, Robin Trower, Steve Morse, Gary Moore, Jeff Beck, etc.

Rock On!

Aww...shucks!! You are sweet too! Me & K had a really nice Thanksgiving...Thanks : ) Can you see all of the pics on my page, yet? Michelle said she could but it only says there are 2 there in my album (there's really like 60) Anyhoo~~COOL!! I love that Priest song~ The Hellion/Electric Eye I could probably sing that one too, I never tried but it's still in my range...it doesn't have many extreme "high" notes in it...like some of the others...LOL! I have to get the recording process down more & get my own stuff before I would even attempt any singing tho! But if you end up recording that...maybe you'll let me practice over it? I could definitely do a decent job on that "Crazy Train " that you and BBQueen did...LMAO!! if you ever wanted a "non- joke" version...just throwing that out there. Your guitar work is Great on that song!! Mississippi Queen is a good song too and I haven't heard it in along time! Okay, back to the toolshed...or woodshed...the Lab...The Dungeon... haha. Keep playing brother!! ~~~Chris : )
